Chip Allers signed with Oregon. Not sure if he is a walk-on or a scholarship player there.

I found that Allers is also a walk-on at Oregon. I think that he probably just wanted to stay closer to home. I wonder why Stanford did not offer a scholie. Allers is a three-star on 247, and we certainly have scholarships to spare.

He is as low of a 3-star as it gets, by only one service, at the strongest position on the roster (OLB), at which we signed at least 1, possibly 2, more scholarship players in the same class (Tre Williams/Omar Staples).

I am strongly against "offering a schollie just because we have the room." The situation must make sense. This one does not.
