Hmm.  That kind of worries me actually.  Garrett Gilbert, the touted QB savior of the Texas program after Colt McCoy left, was pretty much a one-read QB as well, and that turned out fairly disastrously for Texas (he's plying his trade at SMU now).  At least Hogan has legs--Gilbert wasn't as mobile.

Note that Gilbert's father, Gale Gilbert, was the kal quarterback for the '82 Big Game...yes, that of The Play.
