We absolutely needed the Beavs to win today, and luckily they did. I'd agree that we needed OSU to lose one of their last two games, but since they lost last week, we needed them to win this one. Other than winning out, our best shot to get to the Rose Bowl is for Oregon to go to the NCG and Stanford to go 9-3 (with the third loss to Oregon) and rank in the BCS top 14. If OSU were to be top-10 when we beat them next week -- and they most assuredly will be after today -- then this would help our numbers all around should we beat them. We'll need every point we can muster to break the top 14, assuming Oregon delivers Stanford its third loss.
