From Sadford to Stunford...
What's perhaps most stunning to me is that the CUmback (it's ok we'll think of something better later) happened without a turnover by the team with the 29-0 lead. Can that be said about any of the other classic comebacks in Pac-12 history?
Any highlight reel of 2023 CFB will include Ayomanor's amazing OT catch over hypeboy and future NFL slot receiver Travis Hunter, and I love it.
S. Jorgensen: 3 tackles, 1 sack and apparently a significant number of inspiring halftime words. Always listen to your walk-ons, people!
I have no idea why there's a punting battle going on, or if TT hates all running backs, or how the hell Colorado scored a two-point conversion on a gimmick play that Stanford was lined up to be "ready" for.
But those are all questions for another day, as I finally go to sleep knowing that Stanford will not be going 0-fer in conference play *in the final year of the conference,* which would not have been something that you can quite live down. Now is the time to dream of continued stable QB play and spectacular WR performances, as well as a defense capable of actually defending. Good night, and, as a guy wearing a gold jacket once said, “If your dream ain't bigger than you, there's a problem with your dream."
