I still harken back to a KNBR interview while Harbaugh was the 49ers coach in their 8-8 season in which Brent Jones basically said he wouldn't want to be coached by Harbaugh under virtually any circumstances. And everything I've read about the man over the years makes me want to agree. I know many, many UMich alums who are happy with Harbaugh while acknowledging that he's not their kind of guy, but they're happy to rationalize his presence as long as he wins 10+ a year.
