CJ Stroud has really caught on fire lately.  I don't think Davis is likely to do anything other than ride the pine in Houston.  I can't speak to why Stroud suddenly flipped the switch, whether it's an improvement in playcalling to suit his strengths, improvement in the health of his OL, or cumulative effects of mental improvements over the course of his rookie season.  He's really endured a rough first few games and is now making the Panthers second-guess drafting Bryce Young.

I was hoping Davis Mills would have been able to flip the switch similarly and earlier last season.  That patchwork OL didn't help the phenom RB draft pick from Florida, Dameon Pierce, either.  Pierce looks worn down already and is really being pushed by Devin Singletary.
