In my Stanford fan life stanford has had 6 head coaches. Howie ok until he wasn’t. DiBisso terrible. Davis iffy with his I demand Monk. Monty so outstanding awesome years Johnson couldn’t wait to leave Dawkins better than some which sadly didn’t mean much, Haase we all know
Hiring is a real crap shoot something to keep in mind
Is that supposed to be an argument for not making a change? Even if hiring a new coach is (something of) a "crapshoot," it's hard to believe that a thoughtful and comprehensive (or even wide-ranging) search would yield someone WORSE than the incumbent. It's worth making a serious effort to find a better coach for the players. I doubt that Muir will launch such a search.
