Kiki is ESPN player of the week -- and Tara is coach of the week

1. In the game, in the special features about her record, and in her exceptional post-game press conference, Tara made fabulous impressions. She came across as genuine, humble, personal, and gracious. I came away with an extremely favorable impression of the kind of person she is. Recruits across the country who were watching could only be favorably impressed when considering what it would be like playing for her. 

2. Kiki was nothing less than magnificent yesterday. The extent of her improvement this year is amazing and she will get even better. She could be an All-American next year. Her athleticism is impressive, as is her increasingly smooth 2-point jump shot and rebounding, on both O and D. She has a great motor and an endearing personality.  
  
3. While it's obvious that Kiki, Lepolo, and, to a lesser extent, Demeter had excellent games, it is sobering that the rest of the team hit zero 3-pointers and scored only a total of 5 points, at home no less.
