I'll be posting the new grid soon, but, in perusing the spring roster, I think this is where the scholarship count is at:
80 2023 scholarship players
-21 Seniors/5th year scholarship players
-4 Non-senior transfers (Heyer, Patu, Williams, Moi)
-3 Non-senior retirements (Hawkins, Thompson, Slocum)
+9 Returning seniors/5th years (Phillips, Sinclair, Rogers, McLaughlin, Manley, Keneley, Porter, Ungar, Farrell)
=61 Ongoing scholarship commitments
+25 Incoming freshman scholarships (this is not counting Yamauchi)
+2 Incoming transfers (Green, Galvan)
=88 2024 scholarship commitments
Scholarships Available: -3
What am I missing? Either more are going to retire *after* spring football, some of the returning 5th/6th years are not on scholarship, and/or some of the recruits/transfers are actually PWOs.
