No longer really about the thread title, but re the tournament in progress, Ariz vs Washington. Much more competitive game than the two this afternoon -- Ariz 29, Wash 27 at the half,. Most mind-blowing stat to me, 5 fouls total called in 1st half -- 2 for Washington, 3 for Arizona

And that foul total is with Missy as one of the refs

FWIW, although I've been a ring leader of team "rag Missy," even I have to admit she's actually really improved over the last two seasons. She still goes to the monitor too often (and for too long) for my tastes, but otherwise I'm shocked to admit I think she's become an above median Pac-12 WBB ref. And lord knows we have other, greater menaces to worry about these days...
