First of all I’m a Stanford fan and have paid for the first of season tix.  I’m very excited.  Could care less about the ACC but beats all to H not being in a strong athletic league
Qwerty I’m sure you know when talking NIL it’s not necessarily thru the school. Brink with many deals Haley Jones with her Shoe deal for instance and other WBB and WVB I’m aware of

To two coaches I have talked to or chalk talks the 40 year decision is alive a well and the recruiting shows that

I just think one measure of accounting that should stick is self-reporting by the athletes.  The other is a compilation by the schools, which they will need for their own purposes (including recruiting).

We will just have to disagree on the 40-year decision.  If a kid can make several million in NIL by the time they graduate, Stanford may have very little to do with it.  Brink was Brink and Jones was Jones.  Being at Stanford didn't enhance their NIL financial prospects IMHO.  They would have been stars anywhere they went, and the money would have followed.

Just my opinion.  I can't automatically keep the Cardinal-colored glasses on for this one.  I'd like to know some numbers on how competitive Lifetime Cardinal and any other NIL entities at our disposal are making us.
