Slows' main restaurant is in Corktown (northeast of downtown), across Michigan Avenue from the old art deco train station.
A block and a half away from Slows To Go is Selden Standard, for my money the best restaurant in Detroit (and around the corner from my house). It would fit nicely into the farm-to-table Palo Alto restaurant scene. Serves up extraordinary lamb ribs. Mrs. Mick (of Croatian descent, loves lamb and is a superb chef) approves.
