Kelly was complaining about a previous play and not the Hogan touchdown run. One or two plays before the Hogan touchdown, Stanford had called a screen pass to the left side of the offense. The Oregon defense played it well and covered the intended receiver. Instead of forcing that pass, Hogan spun back around to the right and found Hewitt (it may have been Ertz) for a 7 yard completion. Watching that replay, there were definitely linemen down the field blocking. Kelly was right but he didn't start complaining about it until we had scored a touchdown one or two plays later.
