Ott hasn't really recovered his form after injury. Stanford's defense played well today and exploited Kal's weakness in the run game and pass protection. It was close, but not enough. A few too many in-game injuries degraded our precariously balanced chances for victory. Kal's defense is actually pretty good when it keeps it's focus. Once they woke up to the fact they needed to play, Stanford didn't have the horses on offense. When you are not a triple option type team and your QB has 21 rushing attempts, you have a problem. If that is a "major fail" it is certainly consistent with how we have played all year.
