Coach Paye went with the better defenders in this game and I applaud her for that.   Cal’s players drove at will against Bosgana and Demetre and it led to easy layup after easy layup.   You can’t win games if your defense is that porous to a layup.   Demetre does not have the quickness to stay in front of her player.  I think Bosgana might but she got beat repeatedly as well.

Yes, Ogden, Clardy and Shay are stronger on D than Bosgana, Heal and Harriel (don't know if she was available). Ogden even made a three. Keep it up. Peterson has good positioning on D, but offense has a way to go.

Was impressed with the press D in the second half. Much improved and shows we definitely can get better.
