I sure didn't like UCLA and USC putting a dagger into the PAC-12.   But from what I read UCLA's athletic program was in a tough spot financially.  They either had to sell their soul for money or make substantial cuts in sports programs.  While I didn't like it, I understand UCLA felt there was no other choice to keep all their sports teams funded.

One can ask the question was the decision made out of greed or survival.
