I think MacIntyre will stay a year and test the waters. If he is successful again, he'll bolt. If not, he'll stay. Either way, SJSU is interesting.

I'm not sure if MacIntyre will ever be a hotter commodity than right now.  If he gets the right offer, I think he has to take it.  As your post notes, there's always a possibility that the team stumbles next year (injuries, suspensions, etc, can derail a program).  If that happens, he would regret having passed up a great opportunity.
