From the San Jose Mercury News today:
Stanford is 11-2 at home all-tome in NIT games, including 9 straight wins in the period 2006-2018. They have advanced to the 2nd round or further in each of their last 5 appearances. And, Stanford is 7-0 all-time vs. CSUN, dating back to 1976. Of course, all of that is just history with no bearing on tonight's game - except perhaps to add to SkiBum's (and my) nerves.
BTW, Kent State just beat St. Bonaventure 75-56, so the Golden Flashes will take on the Stanford-CSUN winner in the 2nd round.
