What's happening to Yikes reminds me of what happened to RichRod when he was at Michigan: inheriting lots of talent that may not be suited to his system.

Well, that and the massive attrition and dumb, ill-fated defensive coordinator hire.

Actually, the offensive talent fit doesn't seem so bad -- I've been surprised that the 59ers haven't been able to do a bit better on offense. But then, no one made Yikes start a true freshman QB, even though history is fairly clear it's nearly always an awful idea.
