I would have liked to have seen Dunleavy take Maxime, but not because Post has specific shortcomings. Post is 7' 0" in bare feet, not 6'10. He led the team in three point percentage. He averaged more rebounds per 36 minutes than all but Looney and TJD...he was a rounding error behind Gui Santos. His offensive rating at 116 is about average (same as Podz, Moody, and considerably better than Buddy Hield, Kuminga, Green or anyone they traded). His defensive rating is 112, same as Podz, Knox, little better than Buddy, Curry, wiggins, Moody, Butler, etc.

Incidentally, Post's splits as a starter are considerably better than his numbers as a reserve. Better FG%, 3Pt%, FT%, more rebounds, more points, better OffRat/DefRat splits, and FWLIW, he does better on the road than at home. Not bad for a rookie. Podz's numbers are better at home and as a reserve. Moody is better at home and as a starte.
