Correct me if I'm wrong but IIRC we lost our top 4 WRs from last year -- Ayomanor to the NFL and 3 others (Cisse, Rueben, Bachmeier) to the portal.  And Jackson Harris, whom I don't even remember seeing on a Stanford depth chart the past 2 years, showed more speed and athleticism than any WR we put out there yesterday. That's hard to recover from, and our recruiting looks to have just whiffed on that position.

Maybe it was nerves, but Gulbranson was woefully inaccurate on short passes, which seemed pretty weird.

For one of our most experienced guys, Leigber was kind of a no-show all day.

Rose, OTOH, was right in the middle of everything and played a stellar game IMHO.
