...was not my experience. I showed the cashier my phone, and she had no idea what I was talking about. "It's our first week." I mean, c'mon, this was a SIGNIFICANT discount and already way-overpriced hot dogs and drinks.
My experience with the STM Discount Pass was similar. I tried using the pass when I was prompted for payment, figuring that it would cause the total to be recomputed before I submitted a real payment. Alas, all I got was an error message.
I asked the cashier, who actually brought someone over who did seem to understand. He said they had already granted the appropriate discount, and indeed that was the case. But I'm not sure exactly what made that happen, and whether it's repeatable.
So it goes....
