Stanford will have two weeeks to prepare for SMU, which is not nearly as good as last year (No. 40 in Sagarin ratings).

Fla. State next plays Miami and then a Pitt team that's better than its record (2-2). Could they be in meltdown mode On Oct. 18 after a long losing streak?

At Miami...yeah, I got nothin' for that one.

well when Miami's head coach was the head coach at oregon the duckies twice were favored and blew 4th quarter leads which resulted in overtime games in which Stanford won both.
