The NCAA's Graduation Success Rate (GSR) counts student-athletes who transfer in (the new college gets to count them as a success if they graduate). But transfers out are simply removed from the original school's calculation entirely. However, transfers out do impact a school's overall student retention and graduation rates (whether athletes or not).
