One of wbbfan's goals for this game was to get more balanced scoring, so seeing 5 players in double figures was gratifying indeed. No injuries is an every game goal, and mission apparently accomplished on that front as well.
O Boards can be such a strange stat. My friend, a Stanford Prof. who I've known since the 6th grade, and I, call it a Moses play, when you miss your own shot, get the rebound, and put it back in. Moses Malone made a living at it. Chiney is very, very good at it.
Furthermore, when you are clunking your 3's as Tenn. was, you get long rebounds. Long rebounds tend to trend in favor of the offense. Further, furthermore, there were many "over the back" calls that should've been called, but weren't. Plus, sometimes you are helping on D, and end up out of position to rebound. We need MT to crunch the numbers!Â
