Is there a particular reason that you try not to use PayPal? I’m ambivalent among all of the different pay apps, but if there’s a particular reason not to use one (whether user standpoint or corporate business practice), I’d like to know, thanks.

I favor Venmo. Clean, appropriate security, easy to use. PayPal's security measures are almost ridiculously onerous. They put me through multiple, needless week-long delays, which tells me that they've had security challenges, which tells me I don't want to use it.
