What's the big deal?  Honking a horn is just a way of saying hello to people you drive by. A couple of his former players were on that bus. Now if he honked his horn and then mooned them, that would be classless.

It said he mockingly saluted them.
Not quite as bad as mooning them, but......
And , yeah, I could see JH doing that.
