The first move has been made - Tyler Mahle to Atlanta for Anthony Molina (a nondescript reliever).  Next up, Ray and Arraez - I doubt SF will get much back for them.  This trade deadline has been just another disappointing brick to toss on the pile.

On its face, this seems like a crap deal. Molina has pitched 99 1/3 innings at the major league level, and his stats (over 3 seasons) are terrible. Career 6.89 ERA, 5.16 FIP, 69 ERA+. His walk to strikeout ratio is good, but maybe because bats seem to be running into his pitches a lot.
