Looks like Arraez to the Phillies. Hate this  Giants get a really good player and can’t wait to get rid of him
Looks like Giants are getting 2 good young pitchers

I can’t complain about this deal. SF had no interest in signing Arraez to an extension (too expensive, and more importantly, he would block the path now being walked by guys like Level, Hernandez, Gonzalez and Kilen).

Also, Marquez was the #9 prospect in the Phillies organization.  At 20 years old, he fits in with the aforementioned quartet as the future of the Giants.  

Next up: Robbie Ray. Hopefully, the return for him will include another top 10 pitching prospect.
