Lou Holtz was praising Oregon and talking about how the Ducks could beat any team out there...and then he said this.

"It's a shame that the field goal went through by Stanford."  --Lou Holtz

Geez.  Now I hope ND loses by a FG in triple OT (score should be 14-17, Bama) and Holtz has to retire out of shame.

Kelly said something about Stanford being a really good team and praised David Shaw (yup, mentioned Shaw) for "what he's done there."  My memory is a little fuzzy; I spent too much time thinking about ways to fly GoodGrief to Miami so that he can punch Holtz in the nose after that comment in the post-game show.
