Was anyone at Cagan stadium for the ND game the other night? I guess I'm glad I wasn't. The visiting Irish defeated top ranked LSJU M soccer by 3-1. The stat sheet says LSJU outshot ND by 24-12, and had 8 corners to just 2 for ND. 

Soccer can be cruel (for another example, LSJU W soccer v FSU in last year's college cup final).

Not that it wound up mattering, but there was a goal disallowed by VAR in the 81st minute.  Don’t know how close or far it was (I just happened to look at the scoreboard while it was under review).  You never know; sometimes if you are only one goal behind an all out effort in the last ten minutes can salvage a tie.  But it wasn’t meant to be.
