Coach said yeah this kind of loss hurts a lot. But he’s not demoralized. This is life. You gotta get back up. He said the team is a brotherhood and isn’t going anywhere [away].
This is the right and only answer, and the one alternative to quitting.
So we’ll see if he can lead and motivate that attitude in the team.
If he can, there is talent on this team with the potential to bounce back and win 2 or 3 more games.
We will see.
Notre Dame on the road next week. Almost cruel. Sagarin would make ND a 34-point favorite, but I'm guessing vegas will start north of that, and bettors will drive it up further still. Elon can't come soon enough, but in a weird way that game carries almost more pressure than next week. I thought WF did a respectable job of trying not to run it up, but Stanford insisted. Here's hoping ND is better at putting on the brakes.
