So Rob Lowe is from my home town.  He used to babysit some people I went to school with (insert joke here).  So whenever he was in town, word would spread like wildfire among the girls:

"OMG did you hear Rob Lowe was at the International House of Pankcakes?!?!" 

"Shut up!  Do you think he's still there?!?  Should we ditch?!"
