A lot of the time our 2012 offense was predictable and sluggish, so I don't think Pep's leaving would be a big loss. I still remember us almost pointing to the spot where Stepfan was going to run -- twice -- and daring the Belligerent Hibernians to stop us -- which they did. To Pep's credit, our first two drives vs. the Cholesterolics were very creative. No doubt several large bodies keeled over in the stands. And Pep had other brilliant moments. But much of the year, as others have said, our offense looked the way it did in the middle of the Rose Bowl game.
Given Pep's proclivity for the ordre profond and the slow-developing running play, I wonder why Oregon's flying circus would be interested. He doesn't seem much suited to their system. He's more a guy for Wisconsin.
