Wow.  Reading those makes it a whole lot easier to credit the "fight in the Sun Bowl locker room" stories.  Just not sensing a lot of good feelings there...

Also, I seemed to recall that, when the season began, there were a number of prominent columnist types espousing the view that this was the year that Lame Kitten was going to put it all together and show what a great coach he really was.  Sure enough, a couple of minutes on Google brought back this:
