Reddit as a whole really started to take off when Digg shot itself in the foot with that ill-received redesign a year or two ago and half its users fled for greener pastures. Unfortunately, Reddit's most popular subreddits have been in Eternal September ever since.Â
However, smaller or more content-specific subreddits still often host some pretty good discussions. r/cfb, the college football subreddit to which Publius linked us, is a bit of a mixed bag. It contains memes and accusations of circlejerking, but it is still my favorite place to discuss football with fans from all schools because the folks there keep it civil for the most part. You guys should visit. We can always use more Stanford fans.Â
