Which is, coincidentally, where I got married.
On one hand you have Rick Perry running around spouting his conservative, get-government-out-of-our-lives boilerplate slogans. On the other hand he is a shill for a monstrous corporate welfare policy of freebies and incentives. I have no problem with the idea that responsible adults can agree to pay more taxes so that relocating companies can pay none. If that's what they want, fine. I do have a problem with Perry and the whole free Republic of Texas thing. As a guy who has worked in Houston I can truly say, " It IS the heat and the hypocrisy."
