Hogan numbers seemed very Hogan. I like that. Hope he picks up his YPA this season and I expect he will. 71% completion is excellent and I think what we can about expect from him.
They said Crower played better than his stats indicate, which is very possible. Sounds like he's tall, has accuracy, lacks mobility. If we're going to tailor make our offense to utilize Hogan's running ability, similar to the SF offense, then Crower might not be able to run the offense the same way Hogan does. But 6'5 is a bonus, and QB accuracy is very important. Hopefully Crower can make better high percent throws than Nunes (who loves the deep ball).
Young seems to be our big play guy. He would fit well into the Oregon offense I would assume. I hope we run some read option plays with some combination of Young/Hogan/Barry J.
You don't hear too much about Cummings but he's from my area, Sacramento, just like Jordan Richards. Maybe he is the dark horse in the HB race like Seale. Cummings and Wright both did well with above 4 YPC which is what you aim for with HB's typically. I was curious about Wilkerson's stats, even though we have game stats from him.
Seems like our primary WR's could be Rector, Whitfield, and Montgomery. That's just was I'm getting from the stuff I've read, heard.
