I can only guess whether Chiney was tired, but she certainly wasn't herself -- she missed several shots that, even under pressure, she ordinarily makes; she wasn't as effective an offensive rebounder as usual; she didn't have her customary cat-quickness to loose balls under the basket.

Also -- not just with respect to Chiney -- we haven't given UCLA's defense enough credit in this thread. It was absolutely tenacious.

I thought Brewer in particular was a defensive force.
