Does Stanford have the freedom to just give the tix away? Whenever I've gone to post-season games at Stanford, I've gotten the impression that ticket prices are decided by the organizer. Maybe the NIT would be okay with Stanford letting folks in for free, but I get the sense that they want their pound of flesh.
I wonder how many people would have come, even with the prospect of free tix.
