"Hogan said afterwards that he just threw it up there and that Rector made him look good."
It's not too hard to envision almost the same quote after a real game and be much grumpier about it
"I just threw it up there... and unfortunately the defensive back was in a better position and got the interception."
Hard to argue with how much Hogan contributed to a season that looked to be going off the rails last year. Also hard to argue that all the quotes about Hogan's growth and learning coming out of the practices didn't come true when applied to what we saw in a quasi-game situation.
All you people under 60 can go get coffee for a minute. For all those still left, despite the similarity in athleticism and ability to run, does anyone mistake Hogan for Don Bunce?
