A lot of the commentary on the K.al boards was about how their own athletic dept. managed to drain the anticipation and excitement from the event by going on and on and on about the high concept of "brand" and branding,  even dwelling on the font of the letters used.  It took them, per reports,  more than a half hour before they got to the only thing in which people were interested: the actual uniforms.  Memo to self.  Don't hire Kal planners to organize next event.  They could drain the excitement out of anything-- from the dawning of World Peace to the global party after the asteroid just barely misses earth.

The all-yellow uniforms are...well, it's a contest between "stupid" and "hideous", but will come in handy if they ever play Boise St. on their blue stadium rug.  Otherwise, they're OK.  I thought the dark blue unis really are the representation of Kal and aren't too bad for a team I reflexively loath.
