Yes, yes, the FOOTBALL team sports red and white traditionally, but as we all know the special occasion uniforms feature black.  And by my recollection the team is doing rather well with black uniforms.  If the players on the team elected to play with black uniforms in the BCS CG I would have no problem with that selection or concept.

However, the UCB fashion show was an all-sport deal.  If Stanford had an all-sport fashion show we would see black, and lots of it.  The show would include at least one black football uniform, and several of the women's sports teams sporting black uniform options (see women's volleyball, gymnastics, water polo, etc.)  So it is red, white and black that would be the featured colors in a Stanford show.  And I still maintain that those three colors work better together in a fashion show than the colors UCB is forced to use.
