Jack Mildren of Oklahoma and Jerry Tagge** of Nebraska -- hardly threw the ball at all because they were running three-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust offenses.

Interesting that Pat Sullivan's (the third of the three QBs that you must be referencing) stats from that year don't look so impressive. His numbers from 1970 look better. Good enough to win the Voldemort though.
