1. As mentioned above, he doesn't go down easily. One hit doesn't put him away...at least not at the HS level.
2. He is a natural receiver. He catches the ball naturally, without awkwardness and is very fluid transitioning into his run after catch. A lot of RBs seem to hesitate, as if almost surprised they caught the ball. Not Marx.
3. Did you watch in the latter part of the video, how well he blocks? There were a couple where he just stoned his guy. In the pocket or on the move he makes contact and makes it count. (yeah, yeah, I know. this is a highlight reel. I've seen some of those highlight videos where none of the above were true.)
4. He camped at Stanford and the coaches got to see him up close without benefit of an editing machine. They offered. He was smart enough to accept.
