Maybe we'd have pulled it out with even just one more fan in the crowd

Anticipating fullmetal flaking out, I brought my mom as a mother's day "treat." She has been good luck at Stanford games in the past, joining me at the Oregon football game in '09 and the men's volleyball NCAA championship match in '09 (?) I guess I need a new lucky charm.

It was a lot of fun to watch live. It's a real battle in the water. Take no prisoners. As an non-expert, I must say, it seemed like Stanford relied on great plays by individual stars more than US.C, which seemed to have a more cohesive team strategy. The contrast in styles of the coaches was also interesting. The Stanford coach seemed very laid back while  the US.C coach was very intense.

Congrats to the ladies on their successful season.
