What defense was Stanford running on a couple of those key 3rd down plays in the 1st half? Â 1-4-6? Â 1-5-5? Â They had 1 down lineman - Fua. Â Arizona had no idea which of the other 10 guys was going to rush the passer. Â It was very effective. Â Stanford\'s unpredictable pressure seemed to rattle Foles into some poor throws later in the game too. Â
Maybe it is just coincidence, but the defense the last two weeks with Howell back in the lineup certainly seemed to have a different tone.
