Griffin78 and RM, I agree with you both. How lucky I was to grow up in SoCal and have the privilege of listening to Scully and Hearn, and to be able to read Jim Murray. My dad was a big Laker and Dodger fan - he really didn't care for football all that much. I remember going to watch the Lakers at the Sports Arena, and the Dodgers at the Coliseum. Since I grew up in Pasadena, I also went to many Rose Bowl games as a kid. My high school played its big games at the Rose Bowl, and my high school graduation was also held there.
