I'm going out on a limb and predicting Alex Carter will at minimum be on Steele's 4th team after the season.
It's difficult to remember a more physically stout CB with Carter's speed and quickness as a True Frosh. Eric Berry is the closest that comes to mind. He moved to SS after playing CB as a Frosh at Carter's size, and was similarly impressive. And he was the #5 overall draft pick a few years ago.
Jordan Richards has locked down the SS spot and Ed Reynolds the FS so Carter won't be going anywhere. My guess is he will be a major disruptive force and the best run stopping CB in college football. There aren't many 6' 205 CBs who can do what Carter can, especially as a Soph.
