I live in So Low APR U and so get a lot of Under Stanford Control coverage. Although it has been a while, I am pretty sure I read an article at the time that identified Taylor Mayes, SC's supposedly all-world player who I think benefited from typical SC over-hyping, as the player who said he would walk off the field if we ran power one more time. That is who I have thought said it.

And for what it's worth, I interpreted JH's decision to go for 2 more as an expression of his disgust and contempt for SC quitting than an expression of personal animosity toward PC.

Taylor Mays-Late was who I recall too.  I believe it was a player's parent who confirmed on another site.
